In 2026, the line between reality and virtual reality, the real and the fake will continue to blur
Note from Pastor Kevin: I agree with the author that the world is rapidly transitioning into a time of great deception. However, I disagree with his suggested solution of trying to rally the masses with a Micah 6:8 moral compass. The Apostle Paul prophesied that the last days would see an unprecedented time of great deception which would be the result of people turning away from the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). The root cause of the world’s current spiritual death spiral is not a lack of moral clarity, it is that people are rejecting The Truth, which is Jesus (John 14:6). Jesus didn’t tell Nicodemus to become moral, he already was. Instead, Jesus told him that “he must be born again.” The Bible makes it clear that everyone who rejects Jesus as their savior will fall for the delusion that is just now beginning to sweep the world
