Mexico Mission Trip 2003

The Calvary Church Youth Group had the opportunity to minister in San Vicente, Mexico in the spring of 2003. We spent a week ministering at Casa del Pastor (House of the Shepherd), a shelter for battered and abused women and their children. During that time we had the opportunity to do a VBS with the kids, a devotional with the moms, help out around the compound, as well as play with the kids and get to know the moms. We were also able to visit a work camp in the area where we passed out food and had a mini-VBS with the kids and shared Jesus with them. It was a trip that was life changing for many of us and we were all tremendously blessed!

2004 Snow Day

Inner tubing at The Summit. Just a fun time to get together in the snow, hangin' out and having a blast!

Helpline Food Bank

For many years now the Youth Group has been involved in the South Kitsap Helpline Food Bank. Helpline is a service to the community that gives out food baskets during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. As volunteers we put together food baskets, and take them out to the recipient's cars. It is a fun time and also and awesome opportunity to share the gospel with them by placing tracts in along with their food baskets.

Freedom Fest 1
- Freedom Fest 2
Freedom Fest, a Christian music festival, was three days of camping, concerts, worship, fellowship, and outreach! We were encouraged by different speakers in purity and sharing our faith. We also took the Taste & See trailer, which served as the "evangelism headquarters." The Lord used the time to talk to anyone who had any questions about the gospel or where they will spend eternity and to pass out gospel tracts.
