If you answered I don't care please read on, it may concern you.
If you answered yes to this then ask yourself these questions:
Have you ever lied (even a white lie)?
Have you ever stolen (no matter how small it was)?
Have you ever disobeyed your parents?
Those are just some of God's commandments and surely we have broken at least one of them if not all. Bible says that according to God's standards we are all guilty before Him. We could never do enough good things to please Him. God is just He cannot ignore our sin anymore than a judge who convicts a guilty felon. (This is the part that should concern you.) The punishment for our disobedience is death ("for the wages of sin is death.") and eternity in hell. But God does not desire that ANY should perish but that each should come to repentance (ref). God loved us so much He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ, perfect and sinless, to bear our sin and punishment which He did not deserve. He went through with the torture because He knew it was the only way for us to be rescued. ".but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus." If you realize you are not a GOOD person, which is the reality for each of us, consider making Jesus your savior today- tell Him you're sorry for disobeying Him, and He will forgive you. And live for Him, He gave you LIFE!!! Click here and read Save Yourself Some Pain. If this concerns you and you would like more information send your comments here: contact_calvary_po@hotmail.com
Steps to finding peace with God
Romans 3:23 .all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Admit that you are a sinner (having broken God's Laws).
Romans 6:23a .the wages of sin is death.
Recognize, as a sinner, you deserve death (Spiritual Separation from God).
Romans 6:23b .but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nevertheless, God desires to give you everlasting life!
Romans 5:8 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
So great is His love for you that Jesus died in your place! Are you now willing to love Him?
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved;
Have your lips confessed Jesus as your Savior -or- do they use His Name in vain?
Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him."
Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart! Why not let Him in to cleanse and save your soul?
The horrible alternative: continued spiritual death. Think about it! (John 8:21-24)
