Welcome to the Calvary Church of Port Orchard's Youth Group page. I hope this page will be a blessing to you. Below is a brief introduction to our Youth Group and the heart behind this important ministry.

What is Calvary Church Youth Group?
Calvary Church's Youth Group is a group of kids ages 12 through 18, and Youth leaders who are seeking to learn about the Lord Jesus Christ and/or to grow in their relationship with Him through the study of the Bible and fellowship with other believers.

Why does the Youth Group ministry exist?
The primary objective or goal for our ministry is to disciple and equip youth aged believers in Jesus Christ to live a life of holiness and separation from the things of this world and at the same time to have not only a sincere compassion for those who are perishing without Him, but to have an answer for the hope that is in them, and to be able to effectively communicate it to others.

How do we plan to accomplish our purpose?
These objectives and needs may be met through a numbers of activities. First and foremost, our devotion is to God (Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit). It is my desire that all would grow in a deeper and more personal relationship with Him; that they would be rooted and built up in Jesus, established in the faith, and abounding in it with thanksgiving. Also, I want to take every opportunity to challenge the youth as Paul did in 2 Corinthians 13:5-"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless indeed you are disqualified." It is my hope that none of our youth would be disqualified in that day.

Where and when do we meet?
As a group, we meet weekly on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm at the Seventh Day Steel Building located at 5000 Bethel Rd. (see meeting location link on home page). Other events or activities during the week will be posted in the church bulletin. You may also contact the church office.
